Marked for Mayhem mixes co-op dungeon runs with one-winner scoring
Bladework Games has announced Marked for Mayhem, a multiplayer action RPG built around a pretty simple tension: everyone is on the same mission, but only one player comes out on top.
The indie studio is aiming to release the game sometime in 2027. Beta sign-ups are being handled through Discord, while wishlists are open on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Marked for Mayhem sends players into dungeon-style runs across fractured dimensions, with squads fighting enemies, dodging traps, taking down bosses, and competing for points along the way. It’s not pitched as straight PvP, at least from what’s been shown so far. The competitive side seems to come from performance, clear times, trials, and the ability to mess with other players at key moments.
Players pick a weapon before heading in, then gather abilities and modifiers during each run. There’s also a drone upgrade system, with augments that carry into future dives and help shape how each Operator plays.
The nastier twist is the disruptor ability, which can be used against friends or enemies to steal points and shake up the leaderboard. So while players are technically working together to finish the mission, the scoring system is designed to make trust a little shaky.
Bladework hasn’t announced a firm release date yet, and details like pricing, platforms beyond PC storefronts, and beta timing are still unclear.
