LOTRO Update 49.7 Brings Back Harvestmath and Adds Wolves of Mordor Level-Up Packages

Standing Stone Games rolled out Update 49.7: In Good Company, Patch 7 for The Lord of the Rings Online on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, with the return of Harvestmath and a new perk for players who pre-purchase The Wolves of Mordor.

Harvestmath starts Thursday, October 8 at 10:00 AM Eastern and runs until Monday, November 2 at 3:00 AM Eastern. This year’s festival adds new Midnight Raven cosmetic rewards, according to the official release notes.

The update also adds level-up packages to The Wolves of Mordor pre-purchases. Players will receive one or two packages depending on which version of the expansion they bought. The package is delivered to the first character they log into after the update, so it’s worth choosing that character carefully.

Patch 7 continues cleanup work on the Neighbours system, too. Neighbour titles from gifts now move to the Social category, Neighbour story quests award less friendship than before, and portraits for Emmathron and Brutha have been fixed. Standing Stone also corrected an issue where regifted gifts weren’t rendering properly in chat.

One Veil of the Nine fix made the list as well, addressing a problem with ringwraith spawns on landscapes.
