LOTRO opens Bullroarer testing for Update 48.4, including a new dungeon and skirmish

Lord of the Rings Online has started preview testing for Update 48.4 on its Bullroarer test server. The headline additions are a new dungeon called Garden of Corpses and a new skirmish built around an “angry evil witch,” giving players an early look at what’s coming before the patch goes live.

The source only teases the broad strokes, but the main takeaway is simple: Standing Stone Games is putting the next batch of PvE content in front of testers now. For LOTRO players, that usually means a short public test cycle focused on encounter feedback, bugs, and balance before the update hits the live servers.

Garden of Corpses is the standout name here, and it sounds like one of the more grim additions in this patch. The skirmish appears to be the other big piece of Update 48.4, though the available details are still pretty light.
