Lost Ark’s Twilight Isle Update Adds Cadarum Isles, New Dungeon Prep, and Progression Events

Lost Ark’s next update, The Twilight Isle, goes live tomorrow with a new continent, Cadarum Isles, and the start of the game’s post-Kazeros storyline. Players will get a new main story questline, fresh collectibles, another Ark Pass, balance changes, and progression events meant to help characters get ready for upcoming endgame content.

The new area centers on the Cadarum Isles, which are tied to a new threat called the Twilight. The main questline introduces the region and also gives players a new ship, Luminas. A future upgrade system is planned for it, though that part isn’t arriving with this patch. The update also adds an ocean liner route connecting Cadarum Isles to other continents.

Horizon Cathedral, the new Abyssal Dungeon, opens on June 17. It’s a four-player dungeon with three stages and two gates per stage, unlocked through the main story quests. Amazon says it’s designed to be difficult, but it will allow infinite revives with a 10-second cooldown. Party wipes can still end an attempt.

Rewards for Horizon Cathedral include character-bound gold, first-clear rewards, Graced Shards, and Ark Grid Cores from gate clears. Graced Shards can be spent at Deni, a new crafting NPC found in major cities.

The update also brings more standard Lost Ark checklist items: Mokoko Seeds across the isles, new achievements, and a new Sea Bounty adventure. Completing 50 Sea Bounties unlocks a special item and the Waves and Sea Shanties adventure quest.

Five progression events will run through September 16, alongside a free Event Trixion Pass, the South Rimeria Pass. There’s also a Desert Wanderer Ark Pass with themed skins, a magic carpet mount, and a bay camel pet. The previously teased global cosmetics arrive too, including the Bloody Dragonslayer armor set and weapon skins.

Full details are in the official patch notes.
