Last Epoch Season 5 Adds Three New Mastery Skills on October 1

Last Epoch Season 5, Rage of the Frostborn, launches October 1 with three new skills for Paladin, Shaman, and Bladedancer. Eleventh Hour Games previewed Radiant Lance, Summon Tide Elemental, and Dreamslash as part of its latest Season 5 reveal.

The new skills are aimed at giving each mastery another build path, especially where those classes had fewer options. Paladin gets a more offensive spell, Shaman gets its final mastery skill with a minion focus, and Bladedancer gets a fast, low-cost attack built around movement and shadows.

• Radiant Lance is a Paladin spell that channels holy lightning through a shield before blasting enemies in front of the player. Like Shield Bash, it scales with block chance, and Season 5 is also changing block-based damage scaling to use uncapped block chance. One node lets players use it without a shield, swapping that scaling to mana instead.
• Summon Tide Elemental gives Shaman a new minion option that can work as the center of a build or as support. Its tree includes totem interactions, Tornado redirects, Maelstrom synergy, and a Wellspring aura that boosts nearby allies with cold spell damage and cast speed.
• Dreamslash is Bladedancer’s new spammable movement attack. It cuts through enemies along a path, then slashes, while any active shadows also perform Dreamslash. Its nodes can add random-target Dream stacks, Shadow Daggers support, shadow resummons, or fire conversion.

The preview also points to more Season 5 reveals coming before launch, including new Unique items. For now, the biggest takeaway is simple: three masteries are getting new tools that could shift how players build them when Rage of the Frostborn goes live on October 1.
