Icarus Online Opens Pre-Registration for Its 2026 Global Relaunch

VALOFE and Japanese operator G.O.P. have opened pre-registration for the revived PC MMORPG Icarus Online, with a global return planned for fall 2026. Signups are live now through October 22, 2026 on the official global site, and players who pre-register will also be considered for the closed beta.

The relaunch is based on the later global build of Icarus Online, the flying mount-focused MMO that previously ran in Japan from 2015 to 2022. The new version is being positioned with balance and progression changes, including updated enhancement systems and new progression categories called Potential, Quality Improvement, and Blessing.

Eight classes are listed for the relaunch: Berserker, Guardian, Assassin, Ranger, Wizard, Priest, Idol, and Magician. Core content includes flying Familiars, instanced dungeons, raids, crafting, Tower of Challenges, team battles, and post-Magmafora story updates planned over time, including Black Market, Floating Island, and Dimensional Temple content.

Pre-registration rewards start with the flying Familiar ICA-W01. Additional milestone rewards are planned at 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000 registrations, including Familiar Marks, Ellun boxes, enhancement-related items, and the flying Familiar Torgai of Time.

Japan’s closed beta, titled ICARUS Advance Party, is scheduled for September 29 through October 5, 2026 via Pmang. G.O.P. says beta rewards include a Sakura Kerub Jr. pet, a limited title, and a permanent red dragon pajamas appearance. Progress from the test won’t carry over to launch.

Icarus Online is planned as a free-to-play Windows game with item monetization. The global effort is also aiming for multiple language options, with English, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian mentioned in current materials.
