Guild Wars: Reforged Launches on iOS and Android

ArenaNet has launched Guild Wars: Reforged on iOS and Android, bringing the revamped version of the original Guild Wars to phones and tablets. The mobile release supports cross-play and shared progression with the PC version, so existing players can pick up where they left off.

Guild Wars: Reforged first arrived late last year on PC and handheld PCs, including devices like Steam Deck. That release updated the original game with a refreshed UI, controller support, and other quality-of-life changes. The mobile version carries over the full game rather than a separate mobile-only edition.

Players can use touchscreen controls, but ArenaNet is also supporting connected gamepads. That includes standard Bluetooth controllers as well as phone-mounted options like the Backbone One. There’s also a Preferred Territory Setting, which lets the game default to a nearby datacenter for better play while traveling.

For new players, the Prophecies campaign is free. The other major campaigns are sold separately, with Factions and Nightfall priced at $6.99 each. Eye of the North is $9.99, while the Bonus Mission Pack costs $5.99.

ArenaNet has also released a launch trailer for the mobile version.
