Guild Wars 2’s Extra Life 2026 Event Starts November 10 With Bonuses and Charity Streams

Posted on by

ArenaNet has outlined its Extra Life 2026 plans for Guild Wars 2, with in-game bonuses running from November 10 through December 1 and a two-day charity livestream set for November 13 and 14.

The annual fundraiser supports Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. If Team ArenaNet reaches $25,000 in direct donations, ArenaNet says it will match that amount, bringing the total to $50,000.

The livestream will run on ArenaNet’s Twitch channel from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pacific on both Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14. Developers from Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 will take part with gameplay segments, challenges, giveaways, and other stream activities.

In-game, anyone who logs in during the event can unlock the title “The Extra Life” if they don’t already have it. The Extra Life Bonus will also be active for all players, with stacks increasing for every $10,000 donated directly to Team ArenaNet.

  • +5% magic find
  • +5% experience from all sources
  • +3% WvW reward-track progress
  • +3% PvP reward-track progress

Players can head to Lion’s Arch to activate the current bonus stack and check the donation total.

The Gem Store will also carry the 2026 Extra Life Donation Bundle from November 10 to December 1. It includes five Extra Life Karma Boosters, five Temporary Selfless Potions, and the new Extra Life Balloon Toy. Extra Life Karma Boosters will be sold separately, and last year’s bundle with the Mini Guardian Angel Blish is coming back too.

Buying any of those charity items grants the blue-text version of “The Extra Life” title, and ArenaNet says all proceeds go to Extra Life. Players can also join Team ArenaNet or make a sub-team under ArenaNet’s Super Team, though streaming Guild Wars 2 isn’t required to participate.
