Final Fantasy XIV previews taco emote and Cosmic Exploration rewards for Patch 7.51

Square Enix has updated the Dawntrail patch 7.5 special site with new images for Final Fantasy XIV’s next 7.5 series update, including a look at rewards tied to Custom Deliveries and Cosmic Exploration.

The big one, at least for emote collectors, appears to be a taco-eating emote connected to Aunt Tii’s Tacos. The preview images show player characters mid-snack, which fits the game’s recent run of food emotes, from cookies and rice balls to the more recent chicken-eating promo.

Crafting and gathering players also get a clearer tease of the next Cosmic Exploration tool upgrades. The screenshots show glowing, computer-like effects around the tools, including a fishing rod, along with sci-fi themed outfits and a new mount based on a small leafy creature.

The patch will also bring the Dancing Mad Ultimate, though Square Enix isn’t showing its weapon rewards ahead of release. That’s normal for Ultimate content, since the clears and rewards are part of the race for high-end raid groups.

The broader 7.5X cycle still has more to come after this, including additional main scenario quests, the conclusion of Occult Crescent, and Beastmaster, the limited job planned for Patch 7.56 on September 8.
