EverQuest II’s Heroes’ Festival Is Back for Its 22nd Anniversary
EverQuest II is marking its 22nd anniversary with the return of the Heroes’ Festival, which is live now and runs through November 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
This year’s event brings back the usual anniversary quests, merchants, collections, achievements, and seasonal activities, with a few new additions on live servers. The main new hook is a dragon attack event at the spires in Thundering Steppes, Everfrost, Loping Plains, and Nektulos Forest, where players can help defend the area and earn faction with the Quellithulian Portal Scholars in Antonica and The Commonlands.
- Dragons are attacking spires in four zones on live servers.
- Players can build faction with the Quellithulian Portal Scholars while contributing to anniversary statue construction.
- Eight new house items are available from the Heroes’ Festival New Additions merchant in Freeport and Qeynos Capitol District for Token of Heroism.
- Ten new equipment items are available from the same merchant for Mischeva’s Tribute.
- Mischeva’s Clothworks returns, with clothwork bosses dropping Mischeva’s Tribute across Norrath.
Special rules servers are getting the event too, though not always in full. Varsoon has the complete event active. Wuoshi has some exclusions tied to expansion availability, including Mischeva’s Clothworks, Thumore’s quest line, and One Afterlife to Live. Kael Drakkel is also missing a few pieces, including A Dream Adventure and One Afterlife to Live.
Returning content includes holiday merchants in Freeport and Qeynos Capitol District, dragon-themed items from Ziyuh Farijinyi in Antonica and The Commonlands, Overseer quests from Laral Spenler, and a long list of older anniversary quests such as Scattered Charms, The Play’s The Thing, Heroes’ Feast, Festive Flames, Missing Decorations, Band Aid, and Shattered Remains.
