Eternal Tombs sets public playtest for March 27 to 29

Triune Studios is opening up another public test for Eternal Tombs this weekend. The MMORPG, which has been pitching itself around live gamemaster-driven content, will run the test from 3 p.m. EDT on Friday, March 27, through 8 p.m. EDT on Sunday, March 29.

According to the announcement, this build includes a batch of changes made over the last four months. Triune says combat abilities and tuning have been heavily reworked, and the test also adds new events, the game’s skill system, and fishing.

The studio also says it has made broader improvements to AI, UI, visuals, and performance. That’s a pretty wide list, but the short version is that this test is meant to show a more complete version of the game than earlier builds.

If you want in, registration is open on the official site. Eternal Tombs previously floated a 2027 launch window earlier this year while calling for more testers, so this weekend’s test looks like the next public step in that process.
