Equinox Homecoming adds Chapter 4 quests, a new race, and a spring event

Blue Scarab has released the first post-launch content update for Equinox Homecoming, following the game’s formal launch earlier this month. According to the official post, the patch adds Chapter 4, seven new main quests, five side quests, new cutscenes, a new race, more horse customization items, and a batch of bug fixes and dialogue tweaks. Equinox Homecoming is a a buy to play cozy horse focused MMO.

The update also brings in a spring seasonal event set in Alderwood. Players can look for hidden eggs around the island, with seasonal decorations now placed across the world as part of the event.

That’s a pretty quick turnaround for the game’s first content drop. Equinox Homecoming launched at the start of March, and this patch looks like Blue Scarab’s first bigger step beyond launch cleanup and fixes.

The Steam post doesn’t go much deeper than the feature list, so some of the finer details around the new race and quest content are still unclear from the announcement alone. Still, the headline items are straightforward: more story, more side content, a limited-time spring activity, and the usual round of fixes.

Equinox Homecoming is the horse-focused online game from Blue Scarab, and this update continues to lean into that mix of questing, social play, and customization that defined its launch version.
