Elder Scrolls Online Update Opens Vengeance Item Set Test and Fixes Werewolf Issues

The Elder Scrolls Online has a new update live on all platforms and service regions, mostly focused on fixes tied to Update 50 and Season One. The bigger item this week is a new Vengeance Campaign test, which is looking at how item set bonuses affect server performance in ESO’s special ruleset PvP mode.

The current Vengeance test runs through July 27. According to the forum post, ZeniMax Online is testing the fifth-piece bonus from item sets only. The 2-piece through 4-piece bonuses may appear active in the UI, but they won’t actually be working during the test.

Gray Host and Blackreach will be closed for the week while the test is running, unless the Vengeance test causes serious performance problems. Since Vengeance is now a permanent campaign, players who want to help with the test can jump in directly.

The update also makes several Werewolf adjustments. Players going through the Werewolf intro quest can now try Gnash, Rending Claws, and Hircine’s Bounty, giving them a better feel for the kit early on. The patch also fixes Werewolf ability issues involving unintended stacking, incorrect audio, and timing problems. Players who previously cured Werewolf or Vampire can now complete those intro quests again.

Other fixes include personality animations not playing correctly, a character elbow issue when jumping from idle, and a Golden Pursuits bug where “Complete Any Undaunted Quest” wasn’t progressing after finishing an Undaunted task.

The full list of changes is available in the patch notes.
