Dune: Awakening rolls back five worlds after base-damage exploit in PvE areas

Funcom is rolling back progress on five Dune: Awakening worlds after an exploit let players damage other players’ bases in PvE areas. The studio says it’s fixed the underlying issue, but the fallout was big enough that it’s restoring those servers to an earlier state.

According to Funcom’s message in an Discord post, the rollback affects Pax, Epsilon Eridani, Harmony, Arrakis, and Stoneheart. Each world is being rolled back by 24 hours from the point the servers were taken offline, with Funcom framing it as the smallest reset that still repairs most of the damage.

Funcom also said it’s disabling this week’s Coriolis Storm, so players who didn’t get a chance to back up their Deep Desert base can do that “safely.”

If your base was hit earlier than the rollback window, Funcom says you should contact customer support. And if you were using the exploit intentionally, the studio says bans are coming.
