Duet Night Abyss sets April 7 update with Su Yi, Huaxu finale, and a new mount
Duet Night Abyss is getting its next major update on April 7, and the big additions are a new playable character, the end of the Huaxu story arc, and a handful of fresh areas to explore. Su Yi joins the roster with mech-themed combat, robot helpers, and a shotgun, while a second new character, Camilla, is scheduled to arrive later on May 5.
The update wraps up the Huaxu storyline with the Grand Incense Rite, a confrontation with Lord Argent, and several boss fights. It also adds five new regions and a new mount described as a giant sword players can ride.
Camilla is the other headline character this cycle. She’s a tavern owner who fights with an assault rifle, but she won’t be available until the second phase in early May. The patch will also add two more weapons, new cosmetic banners, and a set of half-anniversary events.
Outside the content update, developer Pan Studio also addressed last week’s server problems. According to the official post, the studio said its office systems and live servers were hit by backend attacks from “a specific region.” Pan Studio said there’s no sign sensitive data was taken, apologized for the response time, and said it’s putting more preventative measures in place.
Duet Night Abyss is a gacha action RPG, so both new characters are tied to the usual pull system rather than being direct unlocks. For current players, that makes April 7 the main date to watch, with Camilla following a month later.
