Duet Night Abyss Adds Rhythm: Flamewrought and November Co-op Boss Event

Pan Studio and Hero Games have released the “Towards the Dawn” update for Duet Night Abyss on PC, Android, and iOS. The version went live on October 20, 2026, UTC+8, adding a new story quest, a new playable form for Rhythm, fresh weapons, and a run of limited-time events through late November and December.

The main addition is Rhythm: Flamewrought, an Electro character who uses a Sword and Grenade Launcher. She’s permanently available starting with the update and can be obtained for free through Secret Letter, or bought from the in-game Shop.

The update also adds the “Towards the Dawn” event quest, which is permanent, plus several new weapons. Blessed Burden, a Grenade Launcher, is available through Forging or the Shop. The Hatter’s Banquet, a Longbow, arrives on November 10 at 10:00 server time through Forging or the Shop, with its Secret Letter obtainable from Nocturnal Echoes stages. Endless Enigma, a Calamity Sword, will have its blueprint added to Memento in Immersive Theatre on November 10.

Most players will probably be looking at the event calendar, since there’s a lot stacked into this update. The big one is Nocturnal Evermore, a co-op boss challenge running from November 2 at 10:00 to November 22 at 17:00 server time. It includes Evermore and Extreme difficulties and requires players to have unlocked Events after reaching the early Noctoyager chapter step.

  • Immersive Theatre for Rhythm: Flamewrought runs from the October 20 update until November 10.
  • Treasure Hunt Trials runs through December 1.
  • Anniversary Splendor and As Tomorrow Nears run through November 30, with the latter offering 10 Prismatic Hourglasses through cumulative login rewards.
  • Starry Sojourn, starting October 29, rewards time spent in Regional Co-op.
  • Immersive Theatre: Ensemble Act runs November 6 to December 3.
  • Atelier of Candy Dreams begins November 10, adding Treats Galore skins for Lisbell, Truffle, and Filbert.

The patch also rotates Secret Letter rewards on November 10. Rhythm: Flamewrought, Blessed Burden, and The Hatter’s Banquet will move into Nocturnal Echoes rewards, while Yuming, Venial Sinscales, and Cloudveil Unfurl become permanently exchangeable in the Secret Letter shop. The game notes that Nocturnal Echoes rewards rotate every Tuesday, and weekly progress won’t reset when the rewards change.
