Duet Night Abyss adds Icelake, two characters, and a new Umbro element on June 2
Duet Night Abyss is getting its next update on June 2. The patch, called Silver Torrent, Rising Star, adds a new story chapter, a steampunk-themed area, two playable characters, and a new dark element called Umbro.
The update sends players to the city of Icelake and Flodia Bloomfield Station, a train-focused region with a heavier dark fantasy look than the game’s recent areas. The setting centers on a rigid class divide, with citizens split between luxury train cars and much rougher accommodations.
On the character side, the patch introduces Hilda, a pyro-using maid, and Flora, her noblewoman mistress, who uses Umbro. The main character will also get an Umbro form through the story, so this isn’t limited to the gacha roster.
There are a few mechanical additions too. Players will be able to create guilds, and the update adds an asynchronous co-op feature that lets guild members enter dungeons together without needing to be online at the same time. Weapon crafting is also expanding with calamity weapons, alongside six new weapons in total, including a polearm and a grenade launcher.
That’s the main sweep of the June 2 patch. If you’ve been waiting for more story progress or a darker-looking zone, this is the next big drop.
