Crystal of Atlan Adds Ghost in the Shell Event and Raises Level Cap to 80
Crystal of Atlan has launched its Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex collaboration, bringing a new limited-time activity set to Nuverse’s free-to-play action RPG on mobile, PC, and PlayStation. The crossover went live on October 28 alongside a bigger update that raises the level cap from 70 to 80.
The collaboration sends players into a Section 9-themed warzone after an anomalous signal appears in Atlan. The main activity is Simulated Warzone, a four-player mode where everyone pilots a Tachikoma, fights other players, and collects Ultra Cogs to upgrade their machine. Getting taken out drops some of your cogs, so it’s not just a straight shooting gallery.
There’s also Memory Dive, a collection event centered on gathering intel and clues, plus a Tactical Protocol progression track. Players can earn Neurochips and other event items to unlock crossover rewards.
For endgame players, the cap increase is the bigger long-term change. Adventurers at level 70 can take on the Level Breakthrough quest to push toward 80. The update also adds the level 80 Adventure Chapter, Hymn of Redemption, which opens the Frozen Sanctuary map and introduces new gear.
Crystal of Atlan’s Halloween event, Doradoween, has also returned and runs through November 18. It includes a Journey Memories puzzle, a boss fight against Lord Fat Ken with Halloween headwear drops, a hidden pumpkin tied to secret achievements, and Midnight Fudge that can be traded for rewards. Players who progress the Wonderland main quest can also unlock event quests that award the Pumpkin Fiend headwear.
