Conan Exiles Enhanced patch 1.0.1 adds saddle dyes and exploit fixes

Funcom has pushed out Patch 1.0.1 for Conan Exiles Enhanced, with a mix of performance work, bug fixes, and a few feature changes. The most noticeable addition for players is saddle dyeing, which the studio says had been a long-running community request.

The update also targets exploits and general stability, though the source only broadly describes those fixes rather than listing every change. In short, this looks like a cleanup patch aimed at making the Enhanced version run better while adding one small but very visible customization option.

For anyone who hasn’t kept up, Conan Exiles is Funcom’s survival sandbox set in the Conan universe, built around base-building, crafting, and open-world PvE and PvP. Cosmetic customization has always been a big part of the loop for a lot of players, so adding dyes for saddles is a pretty straightforward quality-of-life change even if it’s not a huge system overhaul. While the game isn’t exactly new, it released in January 2017, the genre itself remains popular with games like Dune: Awakening, Valheim, etc.

Patch 1.0.1 doesn’t sound like a major content drop. It’s more of a follow-up update: better performance, some feature tweaks, and exploit fixes, with saddle colors being the headline item players will actually notice right away.
