Conan Exiles Enhanced hits PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027 as a free upgrade

Funcom is bringing Conan Exiles Enhanced to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027, with existing PS4 and Xbox One owners getting the upgrade for free. The studio says the console version will follow the Enhanced update that launched for Steam owners in May 2026.

Full cross-play is planned for Conan Exiles Enhanced, but it won’t be there on day one. Funcom says it’s coming “soon after launch.”

  • Conan Exiles Enhanced will be a separate console version from Conan Exiles Legacy.
  • Buying either version in the future will give access to both Enhanced and Legacy.
  • Owned DLC, Bazaar items, Crom Coins, and Twitch Drops will carry over to Enhanced.
  • Crom Coins will stop working in the Legacy version once Enhanced launches, since the Bazaar is being disabled there.
  • Items bought in Enhanced will not apply to the Legacy version.

The Enhanced version includes upgraded visuals for environments, characters, lighting, and effects, along with a redesigned UI, performance improvements, and other quality-of-life changes. The Isle of Siptah expansion will also be supported, though it remains a separate purchase.

Funcom also confirmed that Legacy of the Giant-Kings content and new Bazaar items released for the Steam version of Conan Exiles Enhanced will be available on consoles at launch. The studio says it plans to keep supporting Enhanced across platforms through 2027 and beyond.

Before that, Part Three of the Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc is set for November 10. Funcom says Akhamet will have a larger role in the next quest, with more details coming when the update goes live.
