Conan Exiles Adds Rifts, New Sorcery, and Mi-Go in Legacy of the Giant-Kings Part Two
Conan Exiles is getting the second chapter of its Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc on October 6. Part Two adds new rift encounters across the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah, along with fresh sorcery spells and the return of the Mi-Go.
The new rifts appear inside existing enemy camps and lead to combat arenas “beyond reality,” where players can take on challenges for new materials and rewards. Those materials also tie into the sorcery additions, with four new spells unlocked through rift encounters and a new tome upgrade path.
The spells cover a few different roles: a defensive ward, Void-based crowd control, corrupting area magic, and faster casting. Funcom is framing them as more options for players who already use Sorcery in fights, rather than a full rework of the system.
The Mi-Go are also back as part of the update. Players will run into Mi-Go enemies, including a mini world boss, and can earn themed rewards. The announcement also says players may be able to add a Mi-Go thrall or pet to their settlement.
Legacy of the Giant-Kings is planned as a four-part arc, with Part Two following the events around Akhamet and the Cyclopean Halls. The next slice of the story goes live October 6.
