Chrono Odyssey Shows Paladin Class in New Chrono Gate Boss Gameplay

Chrono Odyssey has a new gameplay video out today showing an uncut Chrono Gate boss fight against Mirajin, along with the first look at the Paladin class. The time-manipulating action MMORPG is currently planned for Q2 2027 on PC and consoles.

Paladin fights with a long spear and shield, based on the footage. The class can chain spear attacks, block incoming hits with its shield, and use a skill that summons a massive spear to damage the boss. Pretty direct fantasy tank energy, though the video is more focused on the fight than a full class breakdown.

The footage also highlights two Chronotector abilities: Replicate and Isolation. Replicate lets players temporarily recreate combat skills from previously defeated bosses, while Isolation freezes an enemy in time for a limited window, limiting its movement and creating openings to attack.

Chrono Odyssey is available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its Q2 2027 launch.
