Capcom’s latest financial results show big profit growth, led by Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter

Capcom’s financial results for the nine months ending December 31, 2025 show a strong jump in profit, with operating income up 75.1% year-on-year and net income up 68.6%. Net sales also climbed 29.8% over the same period.

The company pointed to its Digital Contents business as a major driver, along with steady catalog sales across Resident Evil and Street Fighter in particular.

Capcom reported net sales of ¥115.3 billion ($748.8 million), operating income of ¥54.3 billion ($352.6 million), and net income of ¥38.8 billion ($251.9 million) for the period.

In Digital Contents, net sales hit ¥73.4 billion ($477.3 million), up 25.4% year-on-year. Capcom said Resident Evil catalog sales got a boost after the announcement of Resident Evil Requiem, which is currently slated to launch on February 27, 2026. The company specifically called out Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village as leaders in that uplift.

On mobile, Resident Evil Survival Unit passed three million downloads after releasing last November.

Street Fighter 6 also continued to add to Capcom’s totals, with cumulative global sales now topping six million units after the Nintendo Switch 2 version launched. Capcom added that Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter were meaningful contributors as well, including continued sales for Devil May Cry 5 and ongoing growth for Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak. The publisher said Monster Hunter Wilds has reached 11 million in cumulative sales since its February 2025 release.

Capcom said it still expects to meet its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.
