Camelot Unchained adds weekly Wednesday test sessions for backers
Camelot Unchained is expanding its current test schedule. According to the Discord announcement, the MMORPG will now run regular Wednesday tests in addition to its existing weekend access windows.
The first of these “War Wednesday” sessions starts April 22 at 3:00 p.m. EDT and runs until Thursday afternoon. Future Wednesday test windows are planned every week, though access is still limited to existing backers.
Unchained Entertainment said the Wednesday build is the same one used last weekend. The team is also looking at ways to get players into realm-vs-realm fights faster during these shorter midweek sessions.
That means the main change here is more time in-game, not a new content drop. If you’ve already backed Camelot Unchained, you’ll have another regular chance each week to log in and test. If you haven’t, that still hasn’t changed. New backer access remains unavailable.
For context, Camelot Unchained has been in some form of testing for years after its 2013 Kickstarter campaign. Its current early access period began in March 2026 after another delay, with access largely restricted to scheduled test windows rather than always-on availability.
