Blade & Soul NEO Gets MORE & MORE Anniversary Update in Korea

NC has rolled out Blade & Soul NEO’s second anniversary update in Korea today, October 21. The update is called MORE & MORE, and it brings a new side story, a 12-player raid, the game’s first sparring PvP event, clan content, new progression items, and a wider class balance pass.

According to the official post, the new story focuses on the Kunlun Sect, formerly one of the Eight Great Sects. It runs across eight chapters and includes characters tied to Blade & Soul’s wider story, including a young Jinsoyun.

  • The new Whirlwind Temple raid is tied to the Kunlun story and supports 12 players. It has three gates, with higher combat power requirements as groups push deeper.
  • Sparring opens as a normalized-stat PvP event, so gear, progression level, and martial mastery score don’t decide the match. Players can earn Marks of Struggle for rewards, including Legendary Martial Tomes.
  • A new ranking system for sparring adds rank-based rewards, including exclusive outfits and illusion weapons.
  • Clans now get a Clan Hideout with a clan-only hunting ground where members can fight bosses together and earn rewards based on contribution.
  • Progression is expanding with Ancient-grade Martial Tomes, Jaun weapons, and new accessories. Ancient Martial Tome Fragments come from the new raid and Clan Hideout.

NC says the class balance pass goes beyond basic damage tuning, with changes aimed at class-specific pain points and control improvements through key mapping updates.

The anniversary also comes with several events. On the web side, players can look back at character growth through Two Years of Records, invite new or returning friends for rewards, and use login-based tickets in a lucky draw. In-game events include an anniversary pass, Double Mileage for paintings and seals, a Windstride Race gliding minigame, and Decisive Battle: Encroached Labyrinth, which uses normalized stats and grants experience.
