Black Desert Teases Gun-Wielding New Class Ahead of Heidel Ball

Pearl Abyss has released a short teaser for Black Desert’s next class ahead of Heidel Ball, the MMO’s annual global event set for next week. The teaser introduces a gun-wielding character named Eddie, who appears to be searching for his sister.

The studio isn’t giving away the full class name, combat kit, or ability details yet. Those are being saved for Heidel Ball, where Pearl Abyss is expected to show how the new class actually plays.

In the meantime, Black Desert’s Terrmian Festival is still running with a new World Boss at Terrmian Beach. The “Winged Mermaid” appears twice a day, and players who take it down can earn items like a Terrmian Dice Box, 50 Cron Stones, Gold Bar 100G, and a chance at bigger bonus rewards, including a Box of 1,000 Cron Stones or Gold Bar 1,000G.

The festival also adds a fishing angle tied to the boss’s arrival. A whirlwind at Terrmian Beach has stirred up ocean treasures, letting players fish for an Event Rare Ocean Treasure Bundle. Possible rewards include Gold Bar 100G, 100 Crow Coins, Ravinia’s Moss Remover, and rarer items such as Gold Bar 10,000G, Golden Ghost Whale, Golden Turtle Shell, and Moss-Covered Map.

Players who combine Ravinia’s Moss Remover with the Moss-Covered Map through Simple Alchemy can obtain Torn Treasure Map Pieces. Collecting all nine pieces leads to the Treasure Map of a Sailor, which points to a hidden underwater chest.

There’s also a small Heidel Ball lead-in quest at the Heidel Fountain. Completing it rewards Event An Adventurer’s Tome, an equippable item with buffs including Monster Damage Reduction +10, a 10% Item Drop Rate increase, and EXP boosts.
