Black Desert Online’s Agent Class Arrives July 30, With Edania Part 2 Starting This Month
Pearl Abyss used this weekend’s Heidel Ball 2026 in Los Angeles to lay out the next stretch of Black Desert Online updates, led by a new class called Agent and the rollout of Edania Part 2.
Agent is the game’s 33rd class and is tied to Deadeye, though Pearl Abyss says he’s built to play differently. He uses a heavier revolver, grenades, and a special weapon called the Hexround, with a combat style focused more on slower, harder hits and area control than Deadeye’s run-and-gun approach. Agent launches in Korea on July 29, on global PC servers July 30, and on console August 6.
Edania Part 2 is also on the way, bringing Inner Edania, seven bosses, new monster zones, new accessories, Life Artifacts, dyes, and the Godslayer’s Armor outfit. Some zones are solo-focused, while others are built for parties. Its rollout is split across three dates:
- July 29: Sulfur Golem monster zone
- August 12: Edania Part 2 regions and items, except Hadum
- September 19: Hadum boss and main quest
A few bigger system updates are coming alongside the content drops. The level cap is being reworked, with the max level rising to 70 on August 12 and then 75 on October 7. Pearl Abyss is also adding Hyperboost later this month, a catch-up system aimed at new and returning players that speeds up progression toward current content.
Other announced changes include Family Dispatch in November, letting alternate characters handle tasks like fishing or processing while you play elsewhere. A PvP stats tool is planned for October, and Marni’s Combat Analyzer will let players manually track damage and DPS during combat.
Life skill players are getting unified Family life gear and gear sets, while functional costume effects will be extractable into crystals starting September 2. Guild Fame arrives August 5 with daily guild activities, guild-wide benefits, and new war-related uses.
On the tech side, Black Desert is adding DLSS, updating FSR to 3.1, and bringing FSR 4 to PC in September. Console servers in North America are also moving to Chicago in August.
