Black Desert Online Adds Common Skill, Treasure Codex, and Agris Drop-Rate Scroll

Black Desert Online’s September 23, 2026 patch is live, bringing a new Common Skill for all classes, the Treasure Codex, a limited-time Agris drop-rate scroll, and several quality-of-life changes for Barter and sailing. The update is about 1.26GB and includes 81 listed changes.

The new Common Skill is shared across every class, with the same effects and animation. It knocks down monsters and can dismount other players, though Pearl Abyss says more PvP improvements are still being worked on. The studio also noted it’s tuning the skill so hit detection and combo flow don’t feel different from class to class.

  • The Blessing of Agris Scroll is available from September 23 after maintenance until October 22 before maintenance. It costs 1 billion silver, is limited to 10 per week, lasts 60 minutes, and gives Item Drop Rate +50% beyond the usual 300% cap, up to 500% total.
  • Players can also get two Blessing of Agris Scrolls once per Family through a login challenge. Unused scrolls will be removed during maintenance on November 5, 2026.
  • The new Treasure Codex can be opened from the Adventure menu and shows available treasures, required materials, how to obtain them, crafting methods, and first completion dates.
  • Barter now supports remote wharf use from large ships, including shops, repairs, resupply, sailor management, cargo loading, quests, and storage-related functions.
  • Barter Information now shows route distance, adds a nearby town or wharf navigation button, and ship auto-navigation has been adjusted for more natural routes.

Elsewhere in the patch, La Orzeca Paint was added as loot to several monster zones, including Ash Forest, Olun’s Valley, Tunkuta, Thornwood Forest, Crypt of Resting Thoughts, and related Dehkia’s Lantern versions. Hermesia Inner Castle has also been removed from the highest-tier monster zone category, with related drop rates adjusted.

On the quest and guild side, older Leveling Aid quests can no longer be accepted because HYPERBOOST has replaced them, though already accepted quests can still be finished. Guild alliances also can’t be formed while a guild is signed up for Node War.
