Black Desert Mobile adds Boss Blitz mode as Martial God Championship finals near

Black Desert Mobile’s latest update is live, and the big addition is Boss Blitz, a new boss-focused combat mode for players at 60,000 Combat Power and up. It’s built around short, three-minute fights against rotating bosses, with players trying to read attack patterns, counter at the right time, and score as high as possible.

There are two difficulty options. Beginner includes skill guidance during fights, while Advanced removes those on-screen prompts entirely. Boss Blitz also has seasonal rankings split into Assault, Onslaught, and Extreme tiers, with weekly promotions and demotions based on performance across all servers. Rewards include Furious Battle Loot Chests and Tokens of Valor, which can be traded with Tachros in Velia.

Pearl Abyss is also running a launch event for the mode through May 24. Players who jump into Boss Blitz and clear combo-based missions can pick up an All-in-One Raid Chest, which includes entry tickets for several boss encounters.

Alongside the update, the 2026 Martial God Championship is moving into its final stage. The 1v1 preliminaries ran May 7 to May 8, followed by the 2v2 preliminaries on May 9 and May 10. The Top 8 finals are set for May 16 and will be streamed on Black Desert Mobile’s official YouTube channel.

There’s also an in-game winner prediction event running from May 12 to May 16. Players can guess the winners of the 1v1 and 2v2 brackets before the finals begin. Correct picks will earn Black Pearls, and anyone who predicts both champions correctly will get a special title.

The patch also adds a handful of progression and quality-of-life changes. New achievement categories have been added for content like Battlefield of the Sun, Black Sun, Night of Vengeful Souls, World Boss rankings, the Market, and Delivery. Pearl Abyss also added a new exchange recipe for Eliza’s Comb, a material used to get Omar’s Pickaxe, plus some smaller interface updates like better preset management, bulk collection item registration, and wardrobe filters for currently playable classes.
