BitCraft Online Passes 100,000 Copies Sold in Early Access
Clockwork Labs says BitCraft Online has sold more than 100,000 copies during its Early Access run. The sandbox MMORPG launched on Steam Early Access in June 2025 with a $30 price tag, then got a major reset earlier this year with Early Access 2.
That February 26 relaunch came with a lower standard price of $15.99, plus a launch-week discount that brought it down to $7.99. The cheaper version no longer includes the in-game currency bundle that came with the original $30 edition.
Early Access 2 also wiped the game world, rebuilt parts of the new-player experience, added the free Empire system, and brought in nearly 100 quests. For a game built around crafting, settlement building, trade, and player-driven territory, that reset was a big moment for both new players and returning groups.
The sales milestone doesn’t mean the game is matching its launch highs day to day. BitCraft Online hit roughly 4,400 concurrent players on Steam around its June 2025 Early Access debut, with another bump around the EA2 update. Since then, daily concurrency has mostly settled around the 1,000 to 1,500 range, according to SteamDB charts.
Still, crossing 100,000 copies is a notable marker for Clockwork Labs, especially after the price cut and the Early Access 2 overhaul lowered the barrier for players who were waiting to jump in.
