Arknights: Endfield’s Homecoming Update Adds New Wuling Maps and Operators on July 16

Arknights: Endfield gets its next major update, Homecoming, on July 16, 2026. GRYPHLINE is positioning it as the game’s half-year celebration, with the free update adding the biggest main-story map expansion since launch, two new playable Operators, a larger AIC factory system, and several login rewards.

The update continues the Wuling storyline and sends players into two new main-story areas: Yinglung Pass and the North Wuling Exclusion Zone. The setup follows the aftermath of the Very Large Rift disaster, with players helping Arcane and the people of Wuling push back into their ruined homeland after improvements to the Xiranite Nexus.

Arcane and Liino join the roster as playable Operators. Arcane is a caster tied directly to the Wuling arc, with a combat form that changes based on her Intellect and Will attributes. Liino is an Electric supporter who can boost attack and provide healing through two stances, making her more of a team-sustain pick.

• The AIC system is adding gas as a new material state, alongside solids and liquids.
• New resources include Inergen and Xiragen, with production chains that can convert materials between states.
• Echoes of War is being added as a permanent seasonal combat mode with rotating stages, three difficulty levels, ratings, and seasonal titles.
• Other activities include HEAT RAGE! MEGA ARENA!, The Rooted Realm, new Umbral Monument challenges, and six Delver of the Cryptic puzzle maps.
• Newer players will be able to unlock Wuling early after meeting an early main-story requirement, without stopping their Chapter One progress.

GRYPHLINE also says Homecoming includes quality-of-life changes such as an expanded photo mode, remote retrieval for outdoor equipment, preserved conduit connections in blueprints, more combat visual and targeting options, and graphics support updates including DLSS 4.5, PSSR2, and FSR 3.

For the half-year rewards, players can claim a three-day login campaign with 3,000 Oroberyls, five Basic HH Permits, and the free six-star weapon Farsight. There will also be an in-game mail package with 2,000 Oroberyls and materials, 14 Fortune Connect-and-Win attempts guaranteeing at least 5,000 Oroberyls, and two seven-day login campaigns with five limited HH Permits each.
