Arknights: Endfield is out now on PC, PS5, and mobile with cross-progression
Arknights: Endfield has officially launched worldwide. The new entry in the Arknights universe is available now on PC (via the Epic Games Store and an official launcher), PlayStation 5, and iOS and Android, and it’s free to play with full cross-progression.
It’s also a notable shift for the series: Endfield is the first Arknights game to hit non-mobile platforms, and the first to move into a 3D presentation. Players head to Talos II, an industrial planet where you take on the role of the Endministrator, leading Endfield Industries while expanding across the surface.
On the gameplay side, Endfield mixes base and facility management with tactical, squad-based combat. You command up to four operators in fights, while using the game’s Automated Industrial Complex (AIC) to manage facilities and deal with threats on the planet.
Gryphline is also touting a handful of tech features at launch, including native 120 FPS support, NVIDIA DLSS super resolution and frame generation on PC, and controller support on PC and PS5 with haptic feedback.
The launch version includes in-game events and login-style rewards, plus milestone gifts the publisher says add up to at least 135 pulls across banners.
For more on the game’s combat and structure, MMORPG.com has a hands-on preview from Beta Test II.
