ArcheAge Chronicles Gets a Free Steam Next Fest Demo on October 19

XLGAMES is putting ArcheAge Chronicles in front of players this month with a free Steam Next Fest demo. The demo goes live October 19 at 10:00 AM PDT and will stay available until October 26 at 10:00 AM PDT.

No key, waitlist, or sign-up is required. Players can grab it directly from the Steam page once the demo window opens.

The demo is set in Diamond Shores, one of Auroria’s early regions, and focuses mainly on combat, class feel, and story. It also includes the first public PvP test for ArcheAge Chronicles, giving players a chance to try the game’s action combat against other players instead of only PvE enemies.

  • Four classes are playable: Warrior, Ranger, Berserker, and Mage.
  • PvP is included for the first time in a public build.
  • Housing and Trade are not part of this demo.
  • The demo is available only during Steam Next Fest, from October 19 to October 26.

ArcheAge Chronicles is an open world action MMORPG set in Auroria, 50 years after the original ArcheAge. XLGAMES is building it in Unreal Engine 5, with combo-focused combat alongside the crafting, trade, housing, and open-world systems associated with the series.

The game is planned for Early Access on PC via Steam, though this demo is a smaller slice meant to give players an early read on combat and class identity before that launch.
