ArcheAge Chronicles Details Its Warrior Class and Weapon Paths

ArcheAge Chronicles has introduced the Warrior, giving players a first look at how the class can be built around defense, pressure, or heavier frontline damage.

The class can use either a Longsword or Greatsword, with the Longsword split into two different approaches. One focuses on timing and control, with parries, defensive play, and skills like Closing Clash and Bladeburst to keep enemies under pressure at close or longer range.

The other Longsword route leans into a riskier “path of blood” style. That version can trade portions of the Warrior’s own health for higher damage, then recover by draining HP from enemies.

Greatsword Warriors sound more straightforward: push into the fight, take hits, build Resolve, then spend it on big attacks. The profile names Final Cleave, Rampage, and Warrior’s Cry as part of that kit.

The reveal also frames the Warrior through the legacy of Kyrios, the God of Destruction, though the useful takeaway is simpler: this is the heavy weapon class for players who want to hold the line, break through enemies, or sit somewhere between the two. The full ability rundown is available in the class profile on their Discord.
