ARC Raiders gets the Flashpoint update with a new map condition, enemies, and weapons
ARC Raiders got a new patch today. The Flashpoint update adds a fresh ARC Operation map condition called Close Scrutiny, which puts players into riskier fights built around the ARC Assessor, a heavily guarded unit that carries rare components tied to progression.
That new setup also brings a couple of new threats. Players can run into the aerial Vaporizer and the Shredder, while the update adds two more weapons on the player side: the Dolabra energy shotgun and the Canto submachine gun. Embark also says crafting has been streamlined to make it easier to use.
Those are the main additions in this update, and they mostly point in the same direction: tougher high-value encounters, more gear to chase, and a little less friction in the crafting loop. If you’ve been playing regularly, this looks like the big reason to jump back in today.
ARC Raiders is Embark Studios’ multiplayer extraction shooter, published by Nexon. This patch doesn’t appear to change the game’s core structure, but it does add another layer to its PvE and PvPvE runs by centering one of the new challenges on a specific high-priority target.
