AION 2 Holds Japan’s Steam Top Sellers Lead for Three Weeks

AION 2 has stayed at No. 1 on Steam’s weekly Top Sellers chart in Japan for the third week in a row, according to NC. Steam’s Top Sellers list is based on revenue, not copies sold, so the ranking reflects spending rather than raw player count.

The MMORPG is also placing high in several other regions. NC says AION 2 ranked first in Singapore, second in Brazil, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria, and third in Italy, Spain, and Türkiye. That puts it in the top three across 10 countries, alongside a previous climb to No. 2 on Steam’s global chart.

NC’s earlier figures put AION 2 at more than 6.3 million characters created worldwide as of October 20, with 108.2 million total hours played. The company also said peak concurrent users have passed 400,000 since launch.

Viewership has been steady too. Based on NC’s own numbers combined with Twitch stats, AION 2 has reached around 40.5 million hours watched, with an average of roughly 56,000 viewers in October.
