Throne and Liberty adds a Lunar New Year event, new Battle Pass, and achievement-locked merch

Throne and Liberty’s latest update is live with a Lunar New Year event running until the February 25 maintenance. It also brings in a new Battle Pass, some housing additions, and a small but notable change for War Games lobbies.

The Lunar New Year event has you earning New Year Coins from Normal, Elite, and Epic co-op dungeons, plus Trials. Those coins can be traded at the event merchant for rewards like the 2026 Lucky Star title, the Heart Gift emote, Chaos Prisms, a Solar Steed’s Blessing profile frame, a Noble Chaos Rune Selection Chest, and Growthstones. There are also daily login rewards (including Solar Steed Lanterns), which you can use at horse statues in major cities for Lucky Red Envelopes that contain Sollant. If you’re into housing, delivering New Year cards to certain NPCs in Solisium can net rare furniture pieces.

Full event details and exchange lists are in the patch notes.

On the progression side, there’s a new Battle Pass called Riches n’ Rarities with its own reward track. Crafting also got more housing items, including Minutrite and Gigantrite mirrors plus things like tables, cabinets, and chairs. And if you’ve ever nuked your layout by accident, there’s now a lock option for placed furniture so selected items stay put even if you withdraw all.

PvP-wise, Battlegrounds can now be selected when you set up a War Games lobby, and Battlegrounds added a new Glide Morph at the Combat Coin Merchant.

Finally, the game’s first official physical merch collection has been announced through a three-month partnership with Gamers Redemption. Buying it is tied to completing certain in-game achievements, and purchases come with corresponding in-game cosmetic rewards. The full rundown is in the announcement.
