Spellsouls
Spellsouls was a free-to-play mobile PvP game that tried to fuse two familiar formulas, the lane pressure and tower pushing of a MOBA with the card collecting and deck construction of a CCG. You picked a Spellcaster, built a deck of summons and spells, then jumped into short matches where smart timing and efficient trades mattered as much as raw upgrades.

Spellsouls Overview
Spellsouls: Duel of Legends was a free-to-play high fantasy mobile MMO focused on real-time PvP duels, built around a clear idea, take the head-to-head immediacy of a MOBA and combine it with the choice and counterplay of a collectible card game, in a format reminiscent of Clash Royale. Before you queue up, you choose one of three Spellcasters who act as your primary avatar on the battlefield: Ruul (a pyromancer), Mordake (a necromancer), or Ameryl (an archangel). Each caster has their own flavor and combat identity, anchored by elemental affinities and distinct abilities.
Matches play out on compact arenas where your Spellcaster stays positioned at the edge of the map while you deploy minions, cast spells, and manage defensive structures. The goal is straightforward, overwhelm the opponent’s side, break through their defenses, and ultimately take down the enemy caster while keeping your own towers and lane control intact. With a 3 minute time limit, Spellsouls pushes you to make decisions quickly, when to spend resources, when to defend, and when to commit to a finishing push.
Deck construction sits at the center of the experience. You collect a broad roster of minions and spells, then tune your loadout to support your caster and respond to common strategies. Because fights are so short, small choices add up quickly, a single well-timed spell, a good counter-summon, or a properly supported lane push can swing the entire match.
Spellsouls Key Features:
- Real-Time PvP Battles – short 3 minute duels that emphasize timing, matchup knowledge, and efficient plays.
- Three Playable Spellcasters – play as Ruul, Mordrake, or Ameryl, each offering different strengths and spell themes.
- Deep Deck-Building Strategy – collect and improve spells and minions, then shape a deck that fits your plan and punishes common counters.
- High Quality Graphics – detailed 3D presentation for a mobile title, with readable arenas and flashy, well-animated abilities.
- Summon Spells and Minions – deploy units through the portal and back them up with light and dark magic to pressure lanes and break defenses.
