Hand of the Gods Overview
Hand of the Gods is a tactical card battler set in the Smite universe, turning recognizable mythic characters into cards you summon onto a grid-based battlefield. Gods like Zeus and Medusa serve as marquee units, while minions and spells round out your deck, leaving plenty of space to pursue synergies and tailor builds around specific win conditions.
Games center on deliberate use of a mana-style resource paired with strong positioning and movement choices. Since units occupy tiles on a board instead of simply exchanging stats, many turns hinge on taking key spaces, shielding high-value pieces, and firing abilities at the right moment to flip fights in your favor. The game offered several PvP choices, including ranked 1v1 ladders, and also shipped with PvE adventures for players who preferred curated challenges to climbing the ladder.
Several quality-of-life features helped keep it approachable for a tactics-forward CCG. Complete controller support made it easy to play from the couch, and card hover tooltips surfaced clear rules text so effects and interactions were quick to understand without menu-diving.
Hand of the Gods Key Features:
- CCG Strategy – grow your collection, craft decks around cohesive plans, and deploy myth-inspired units to fight for board control.

Hand of the Gods is a turn-based CCG strategy game developed and published by Hi-Rez Studios, a Georgia (USA) team best known for the MOBA Smite. Servers were later taken offline on January 01, 2020.
