Krosmaga
Krosmaga is a collectible card strategy game that mixes classic deckbuilding with a lane-based battlefield. Set in Ankama’s Dofus and Wakfu universe, it has you choose one of twelve gods, build around that deity’s strengths, and send quirky minions and spells down lanes to smash your opponent’s defenses.

Krosmaga Overview
Krosmaga revolves around tactical lane control rather than the usual “one board” card battler format. You pick a god from the Krosmaga roster (twelve in total), then assemble a deck filled with that god’s themed minions and spell cards. Matches play out on a grid-like field with lanes, where positioning and timing matter just as much as raw card value.
Your objective is straightforward: push units forward until they reach and destroy the enemy’s egg-shaped Dofus towers. Of course, your opponent is trying to do the same, so every turn becomes a decision about whether to commit to offense, stall a lane, or trade efficiently to keep your own Dofus safe. Because minions physically advance across the field, Krosmaga often feels closer to a light tactics game than a traditional card duel.
For learning and progression, the game offers ways to practice outside of PvP. You can test decks against AI opponents and take on dungeon-style content to sharpen your understanding of card interactions and lane management. When you are ready to compete, you can jump into casual matches or ranked play. Like most CCGs, long-term engagement comes from expanding your collection, refining deck lists, and adapting to what other players are bringing to the ladder.
Krosmaga Key Features:
- Deck Customization – build focused lists for consistency, or try off-meta combinations to surprise opponents and exploit lane matchups.
- God-Based Identity – each god supports distinct strategies, shaping which cards you can use and how your turns typically unfold.
- Game Modes – practice versus AI, play casual PvP, or take your chances in ranked for a more competitive experience.
- Card Collection – grow your binder with a large pool of minions and spells pulled from the Wakfu and Dofus worlds.
- Daily Progression – earn currency through tasks and achievements, then spend it on access and unlocks such as dungeons, cards, and more.

Krosmaga Review
Krosmaga’s best idea is its lane-based battlefield, which changes how you evaluate almost every card you play. Instead of only asking “is this minion efficient,” you also consider where it will land, what it blocks, and how many turns it needs before it threatens a Dofus. That extra layer makes even simple turns feel more tactical than many mobile-friendly CCGs.
The presentation is classic Ankama, with bold colors, expressive characters, and a playful tone that matches the Dofus and Wakfu universe well. Even when you are still learning the rules, the game’s readability is strong, you can quickly understand which lanes are in danger and which trades matter.
Deckbuilding is tied heavily to your chosen god, which gives new players an easy way to grasp identity and game plans. In practice, this also helps the game maintain variety, because different gods encourage different win conditions and pacing. As your card pool grows, you start to see how much room there is for experimentation, especially around lane manipulation and spell timing.
Where Krosmaga can frustrate is in its progression and pacing outside of matches. Dungeon content is a nice change of pace, but gating runs behind currency can interrupt the “one more game” rhythm. PvP can also be hit-or-miss depending on matchmaking, with occasional games that feel lopsided rather than closely contested.
Overall, Krosmaga is at its strongest for players who enjoy tactical board pressure, incremental advantages, and the personality of Ankama’s worlds. If you want a CCG that plays differently from the usual “units line up and trade” formula, its lane system remains the standout hook, even if some surrounding systems can be restrictive.
