Knight Slinger
Knight Slinger was a free-to-play mobile fantasy RPG focused on collecting a roster of charming, chibi-style knights across six classes, multiple rarities, and five elemental types. Battles used a touch-driven “drag-and-launch” system, and the game offered both PvE stages and competitive PvP arenas before its service ended.

Knight Slinger Overview
Set in the world of Oratoria, Knight Slinger cast players as a defender assembling squads to push back an encroaching evil. Progression revolved around recruiting knights with different rarities, roles, and elemental alignments, then arranging them into teams that suited your preferred approach. Each squad could designate a leader, and that choice mattered because leaders provided special Leader Skills that shaped how a lineup performed.
New units were obtained through summons with stated, fixed rates, with premium Starble currency used to access better summon options. Knights were split into six classes (including archetypes like Magician and Archer) and also carried one of five elements, encouraging team-building around matchups and synergy rather than simply stacking raw power.
Combat leaned into mobile controls with a simple but tactile loop: you would press, drag, and release to sling attacks, making encounters feel more hands-on than typical tap-only RPGs. Outside of battles, knights could be strengthened through standard growth systems, including Enhancement, Evolution, and Awakening, which collectively boosted stats and improved overall performance.
Like many mobile RPGs, stamina was represented by hearts that replenished over time, limiting how long you could run content in a single sitting. Those hearts were spent across a variety of activities, ranging from the main Adventure campaign to specialized dungeons and multiple arena formats such as the Battle Arena, Duel Arena, and Elemental Dungeon. Missions and limited-time events provided additional goals and rewards, helping round out the day-to-day loop.

Development History / Background:
Knight Slinger was a mobile fantasy RPG developed and published by Gamevil, a South Korean mobile game company. The studio is associated with titles such as Summoners War and Kritika the White Knights, and Knight Slinger followed a familiar mobile rollout pattern: an Android-only Open Beta began in September 2016 for the US, Korea, and Japan, then a soft launch arrived in October 2016 across limited regions (Sweden, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Singapore, Philippines, India and Malaysia). The worldwide launch took place on November 28, 2016. Despite the global release, service did not last long, and the game was effectively discontinued and shut down by February 27, 2017.
