Dragon Nest Mobile Overview
Dragon Nest Mobile is a 3D mobile action MMORPG for iOS and Android that aims to replicate the PC Dragon Nest experience rather than reinvent it. Visually, it keeps a look that is very close to the original game, and it leans into the same identity: instance-based PvE, flashy skills, and combat that rewards movement, timing, and combo execution. Among Dragon Nest-branded mobile releases, it stood out as the most direct translation of the classic formula, especially compared to other spin-offs such as Dragon Nest: Labyrinth and Dragon Nest II: Legend.
You begin by choosing one of four starter classes, Warrior, Archer, Cleric, or Sorceress. As you progress, you can perform a job change to specialize further, which expands how your character plays and what kind of party role you can lean into. Combat is controlled through an on-screen interface, with touch buttons used for attacks and skill activations, making encounters feel closer to an action game than a tab-target MMORPG. The result is a portable version of Dragon Nest that emphasizes familiar locations, recognizable enemies, and fast dungeon runs built around skill usage.
Dragon Nest Mobile Key Features:
- Four Starting Classes – begin with Warrior, Archer, Cleric, or Sorceress, then progress into a job change that further defines your playstyle.
- Dragon Nest World – explore recognizable Dragon Nest-inspired areas, adapted for mobile sessions and shorter play windows.
- Action-Oriented Battle – use positioning, aim, and well-timed skills to build combos and burst damage with a non-targeting combat approach.
- Multiplayer Modes – participate in guild play, tackle co-op dungeons, and test your build in arena PvP.
- Variety of Battle Skills – access over 70 skills across characters, giving room for different rotations, utility choices, and combo routes.

Development History / Background:
Dragon Nest Mobile (first revealed under the name Dragon Nest: Awakening) was developed by Eyedentity Mobile and published by Shanda Games, the same companies tied to the original Dragon Nest. After Shanda acquired Eyedentity Games in September 2010, the franchise expanded into additional projects, including Dungeon Strikers and multiple Dragon Nest-related spin-offs. The mobile title was formally announced on June 30, 2015 as part of a broader effort to extend Dragon Nest beyond PC, with the brand also being positioned for content like films and merchandise.
The project reappeared at ChinaJoy 2016 with an updated title, along with a new trailer and hands-on demos. It later launched globally on April 16, 2018. On November 01, 2021, a Facebook announcement confirmed that Dragon Nest Mobile would end service on November 30, 2021.
