Overview

Aura Kingdom Goddess of the Beginning Overview

Aura Kingdom Goddess of the Beginning takes X-Legend’s fantasy universe to iOS and Android in a free-to-play MMORPG format centered on quest hubs, narrative moments, and repeatable instanced dungeons. Once you create a character from the roster of eight classes, you enter Azuria and follow NPC-led tasks that often shift into voiced cutscenes to set up the storyline and unlock new locales. The core flow will feel familiar to mobile MMO players: move through regions, finish objectives, run instances, and continuously improve your character for harder content.

Character creation emphasizes fast cosmetic setup, with a limited batch of options like hair style and color alongside eye shape and color. After that, most of your strength comes from equipment. The game supports well over a dozen gear slots, so upgrades arrive from many angles—weapons, armor parts, and accessory pieces. Beyond standard drops, enhancement mechanics let you strengthen items over time, and cosmetic layers allow you to adjust your look without giving up the stats you want to keep.

Group-focused play largely revolves around dungeon content, where teaming up with other players can lead to better rewards. Instances feature multiple difficulty settings, pushing the typical loop of improving gear, stepping into higher tiers, and pursuing stronger loot. For getting around between objectives, mounts help speed up travel while exploring the world. If you want something less combat-heavy, there are also crafting-like diversions such as cooking, fishing, and mining to add variety to the daily grind.

Development History / Background:

Aura Kingdom Goddess of the Beginning is a free-to-play MMORPG for mobile devices created and released by Taiwan-based developer/publisher X-Legend Entertainment. As a mobile companion to the PC MMORPG Aura Kingdom, it circulated under a handful of unofficial English labels early on—such as Aura Kingdom Mobile, Aura Kingdom Kai Yuen Goddess, and Aura Kingdom Goddess of the Envoys—before settling on a finalized title intended for Western audiences.

Closed beta testing began in Hong Kong and Taiwan in September 2016, followed soon after by an Open Beta in November.
