WoW Classic sets dates for Pandaria XP buff and Burning Crusade’s next content patch

Blizzard has locked in the next few beats for WoW Classic, with one update aimed at leveling and another at endgame. In Pandaria Classic, the Joyous Journeys buff starts April 21 and will stay up until that version’s next content update. It increases XP gains by 50% all the way to level 90.

According to the official post, players who don’t want the bonus can turn it off by talking to an innkeeper in a capital city.

Burning Crusade Anniversary is getting its next content patch a little later. Overlords of Outland arrives May 14 and opens up two major raids, The Eye and Serpentshrine Cavern, while also kicking off Arena Season 2.

Blizzard says in its announcement that the patch also unlocks Druid swift flight form and adds the Ogri’la and Sha’tari Skyguard factions.

So, if you’re on the Pandaria side, this is mostly a leveling boost to help push characters toward cap. For Burning Crusade players, May 14 is the bigger date, since it moves progression forward with new raids, PvP season changes, and more Outland content opening up.
