Warframe’s Android version starts rolling out, plus Lunar New Year rewards and a Vauban Heirloom set

Warframe is finally starting its Android rollout. It’s live now in Canada on Google Play, with Digital Extremes planning to open it up to more regions in a second wave on February 18, according to the announcement.

At the same time, the game’s Lunar New Year event is running from today through March 11, bringing a batch of themed cosmetics, Market items, and limited-time freebies.

If you’re jumping in on Android, there’s also a login reward window. Log in by March 4 and you’ll get a gift pack that includes the Cirrus Armor Bundle, Cumulus Syandana, Stratus Pistol Skin, Spektaka Color Palette, and a 3-day Resource Booster.

On the Lunar New Year side, Digital Extremes is tying rewards to a mix of Alerts and vendor offerings. Dagath is available via Alert Missions until February 18, the Bingwu Glyph can be picked up from the Market, and Baro Ki’Teer is selling a Lunar Renewal Horse Emblem.

There are paid bundles as well, including the Yfari Collection (built around Dagath Yfari, aka Dagath Deluxe) and a larger Lustrous Lunar Renewal bundle that rolls in the Year of the Kaithe collection on top of the Yfari items.

And for fashionframe collectors, the Vauban Heirloom Collection is now available, featuring a new Vauban skin and related cosmetics. Digital Extremes has details and the full lineup on the collection page.
