Wakfu delays Haven Paddocks to Update 1.92, shares an early preview

Wakfu players will have to wait a bit longer for Haven Paddocks. Ankama says the feature was originally planned in a limited form for Update 1.91, but the team decided to hold it back and ship the full system in Update 1.92 instead.

If you want to see where it’s headed, Ankama has a detailed developer blog preview up now that walks through how building and managing paddocks is supposed to work.

Haven Paddocks are basically your own little creature-breeding setup inside your Haven. You’ll learn different structures via blueprints, and once you’ve learned a building, you can place it where you want. The system is built around separate, fenced-in paddocks, with each paddock acting as its own contained space.

One important rule: any building that provides an effect has to sit fully inside a single paddock. You can’t split it across multiple paddocks or use it as a fence substitute. The preview also notes that different creatures will have their own personalities and preferences, so setting up multiple paddocks is meant to be part of the long-term planning.

As for what’s live right now, Update 1.91 already rolled out on February 24. According to the patch notes, it includes a Sram class redesign, some quality-of-life changes, a new boss aimed at level 96+ players, and updates to several UI panels.
