UNDECEMBER’s The Forge season adds new crafting options, cards, and skills
LINE Games has launched a new UNDECEMBER season called The Forge, and the big change is a rework to character growth through gear crafting. The update is live now across the game’s platforms, adding new Tier 15 gear options, a card-based stat system, and two new skills for fresh build setups.
According to the game’s Steam page, Tier 15 gear options are meant to sit around the same power level as existing Unique gear. In Season Mode, players can also find even higher-tier versions. That makes crafting a bigger part of endgame progression this season instead of relying only on fixed gear drops.
The other major addition is the new Card System. Players earn illustrated cards through gameplay, then equip and upgrade them for stat bonuses. There are also extra bonuses tied to deck combinations and card album progress, so it’s not just a collection feature.
The Forge also adds two new skills: Frost Storm, which creates a chilled area, and Axe Throw, which changes form depending on the weapon type you’re using. On the endgame side, Abyss Gate has been expanded with more stages and difficulty balance changes.
A few progression systems got touched up too. LINE Games says the update adds Zodiac preset saving, a dedicated Chaos Rune Enchant feature, raises the max Avatar level to 140, and adjusts raid rewards. The Black Market’s Friendship cap has gone up as well, alongside new items and changes to the Treasure Chest system.
To go with the season launch, there are limited-time events that hand out growth items, the new pet Sirius, and other cosmetics or gear rewards through login bonuses and in-game challenges.
