Throne and Liberty’s Frozen Divide Adds a Small-Scale PvP Extraction Zone on June 25
Throne and Liberty is getting a new PvP extraction zone when The Frozen Divide expansion goes live on June 25. The mode is called Remnants of Nix, and it’s built around smaller-scale fights, risky loot runs, and knowing when to get out before another group ruins your day.
According to the official preview, Remnants of Nix is an instanced battlefield that runs all the time, with no set schedule, matchmaking queue, or waiting period. Players can enter through the Lawless Wilds button or through rifts in the Aetherion. The existing Lawless Wilds on Nebula Island will be discontinued with the update.
The setup is straightforward: head in, fight over valuable rewards, and extract before you lose what you’ve picked up. NCSoft and Amazon Games say the zone’s channels and difficulty will adjust based on player count, and the map includes tools and items meant to give both newer and more experienced PvP players ways to play smart rather than just charge in.
There is one aerial stronghold safe zone, but outside of that, the mode is meant to stay tense. The rewards mentioned so far include PvP-focused gear and new farming items, though the preview doesn’t lay out the full loot table.
Remnants of Nix also includes escape routes and surprise events, so the main decision seems to be timing: keep pushing for more, or extract with what you have. It’s a smaller PvP option in a game better known for larger guild-scale battles, and it’ll arrive alongside the rest of The Frozen Divide later this month.
