Throne and Liberty outlines April 2 update, new PvP map, and post-merge follow-up

Amazon has shared a quick look at what’s next for Throne and Liberty, with the next batch of content set to arrive on April 2. In the latest Tico Talks video, the team went over the recent server merges, a new brooch gear slot, and several additions coming in the next update.

The short version is that April 2 brings two new co-op dungeons, Doomrot Grove, updates to Chapel of Madness, new affixes for Dimensional Trials, and a new PvP battlefield built around crossing a river by constructing or destroying bridges. Amazon also said it’s still watching the effects of the recent server merges and expects that review period to continue for at least a couple more weeks.

On the server side, the studio said the merges have already affected things like performance and event timing. It didn’t announce specific changes yet, but said adjustments are still on the table based on how things settle and what players ask for.

The new brooch accessory is also part of the April update. It comes in separate PvE and PvP stat-focused versions. According to the official video, players will be able to get them either from the new co-op dungeons or through combat point merchants, depending on the type.

Amazon also confirmed that another player survey is planned for early April. If you’ve got feedback on the merges or the new content, that’ll apparently be one of the main ways the team collects it.

For players who haven’t been keeping up, Throne and Liberty recently merged its North and South American regions, so this next update lands while the game is still adjusting to a much bigger shared population.
