Throne and Liberty is merging NA and SA into a single “Americas” region on March 12
Throne and Liberty is about to get a big regional shake-up for players in the Western Hemisphere. Amazon Games says it’s merging North and South American regions on Thursday, March 12, rolling NA-West, NA-East, and SA-East into one combined region called “Americas,” according to the official post.
The PlayStation situation is a little more specific. Characters on PlayStation-only servers in those affected regions will be merged into a single PlayStation-only server. Amazon also says PlayStation servers in EU and APAC are being merged into a general server, and those PlayStation-specific servers will no longer exist in those regions. Europe and the Asia Pacific Northeast region aren’t affected by this round of merges.
As usual with region merges, players should expect some knock-on changes. Event timers are being adjusted to better fit local time zones, and the character cap per region is going up to six.
There are also a few practical things worth knowing before the switch flips: rankings and guild reputation will reset, the auction house will stay split between PlayStation and non-PlayStation players, and siege dates are getting adjusted. If you’re worried about edge cases like competitive standings or scheduling, it’s worth skimming the full merge details ahead of March 12.
